GENERAL OPERATION TIPS

SET TEMPERATURE:

Cooling is ideally set around 24 to 26. Every degree lower will increase running costs by 10% and risk overheating the unit in a heatwave.

Heating, if reverse cycle, is ideally set around 18-22.

FAN SPEED

Cooling – Medium to High
Heating – Low to Medium
Auto Fan will adjust the speed automatically for you.

MAINTENANCE:

Clean the filters every 6 weeks.
Replace batteries in the remote control every year (use Alkaline).

BEFORE CALLING FOR HELP

POOR AIR FLOW OR PERFORMANCE?

Filters are probably dirty.
Remove filters and clean
Keep outdoor unit clear of obstruction

NO RESPONSE FROM UNIT WHEN ADJUSTING REMOTE CONTROL?

Flat batteries or incorrectly installed batteries.
Replace batteries yearly.
Ensure polarity is correct.
Aim the controller directly at the unit.

UNIT SUDDENLY SHUTS DOWN DURING HEATWAVE?

Possible overheating.
Turn of and allow to cool down fo 1/2 hour and try again.
Ensure thermostat is set to around 25
